Join the program
We invite PhD students and postdocs from UCSD and UCSD-adjacent orgs (Salk, Scripps, Sanford) who are interested in teaching science to students incarcerated in East Mesa Reentry Facility and Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility to learn more about our program and contact us to join.
You can be involved as an instructor, a teaching support group member, or a program member who works on special projects.
We’re always happy to work with other interested folks to talk about how you can be involved, so if you don’t fit the instructor profile please still feel free to e-mail us at sdscienceclass AT gmail.com and we can talk about how you can be involved!

Donate

In the past we have received grants that have allowed us to buy scientific and educational supplies and provide small scholarships for our formerly incarcerated students to continue education; but if you have another use for your donation in mind, please let us know!
